There’s a lot of cherry trees in my neighborhood and during the spring it’s beautiful, all curved sidewalks with endless white blossoms. The fall is disgusting though when the sidewalks/streets are covered in rotting cherries.
Took the time to straighten my hair instead of just pulling it back in a hair tie. Treated myself to fresh watermelon for breakfast, and later in the day a new CD. Removed my chipping nail polish and proceeded to trim, file, and repaint my nails instead of chewing on them.
Now I’m going to go dig out my old, black jeans that don’t fit and cut myself a mini-skirt. I should also mend the strap to my Buffy book bag; since the stitching on the velcro’s come up a bit.
My dining room table is my official workshop. I swear I’ve got everything here: pens, highlighters, CDs, magazines, notebooks, books, vegan peanut butter cookies, iced tea, nail polish, nail file, computer…etc.
